After receiving the final brief, we form a group of 5 and started a WhatsApp group chat for communication. We discuss about our proposed site condition(forest) and location(Sekeping Serendah Retreats), layout of tiny house as well as coming out with our own title block and company logo. All decisions are discussed and made together.
Next, we proceeded with multiple research of material structure of the overall structure and a set of furniture reference to be arranged in our tiny house as group research. We did have a Microsoft Teams call to discuss and to do research together. All information are compiled in a Canva link for future reference and groupwork submission.
As we have done with the groupwork discussion and decisions, we moved on to our individual work. Meanwhile, we also update each other on our progress and discuss together when we encounter problems or confusion when producing our drawings.
Individual Work
After finalizing the groupwork, I started to draft my site plan to study the roof structure and site condition before drawing. Besides, I also start to plan and arrange the furniture layout in the floor plan.
I did some quick changes on my floor plan arrangement digitally after consideration and research in order to produce a better layout of furniture arrangement in the tiny house.
The title block used was created by our group. It was different from the previous assignments where title block is given. More information in required to be listed down in our title block. My architectural letterings has been improving too.
After finalizing the floor plan, I continued to draft and produce drawings of 2 elevations and sectional drawings. I always dhow progress during tutorial class and keep my tutor updated for feedbacks and improvements.
DRAFTS & WORK IN PROGRESS
Sectional drawing is quite challenging for us as we had to refer to our roof structure planned which is slightly complicated and we have different space layout proposed. We discussed on the roof structure and materials together as a group, as well as getting useful feedbacks from tutor.
All drawings were inked properly according to dimensions using proper tools and line weights. Multiple checking is also carried out according to the checklists before submission.

REFLECTION
This final assignment was interesting yet meaningful. The combination of both group work and individual allows us to explore beyond what we've learnt previously. I really appreciate for having an excellent team to work with. No matter it was for groupwork or individual work, we discussed together and learnt from each other. I would say I would not have gained so much working alone without the team. Through the process of completing this assignment, I was able to apply the knowledge and skills learnt throughout the semester into the planning and drawings of our proposed tiny house. In this assignment, we are to plan and draw a tiny house in real built environment, which is different from the previous assignments where we are drawing actual items and spaces than can be measured and observe. Thus, extensive research and consideration is needed. I have developed better understandings in drawing conventions, details, line weights, use of drawing tools, suitable scale, materials, architectural letterings and more in order to produce a proper drawing. In conclusion, I have gained new skills and knowledge as well as improvements from previous works and mistakes.
